LOCATION: TIP Friendly Society, Kingston
DESCRIPTION: Responsible for validating the Society’s systems and procedures to ensure its compliance with the rules of the Society, the Regulator, Policies and Operational Procedures; Liaises and maintains close contact with all Department Heads and external agencies or bodies with whom the Society interacts; Monitors the systems, procedures and outcomes of the Society’s operations; Verifies all transactions posted for accuracy and completeness; Makes recommendations that will ensure the Society’s compliance with all statutory and operational regulations; Implements agreed procedures and systems to achieve increased efficiency
QUALIFICATIONS: Achievement of ACCA qualification; At least five years experience in Accounting and Finance; At least three years experience in Auditing; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Excellent interpersonal skills; Experience in the Cooperative movement would be a distinct advantage
