IT Auditor
LOCATION: Grace Kennedy, Kingston
DESCRIPTION: Assisting with planning, coordinating and executing the performance of financial, compliance or operational audit assignments in accordance with Group Internal Audit standards; Utilizing a risk-based approach to identify control issues and working with the business units to agree practical solutions for improving the control environment; Managing or working on multiple projects while developing expertise in key functions in line with business needs and individual career objectives; Evaluating the internal audit environment by utilizing a governance framework such as COBIT to identify control gaps related to financial reporting, operational efficiencies or compliance with laws and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS: Professional certification such as Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Auditor (CIA), or an Masters in Computer Science/Management or related field; ACCA accreditation is desirable; Minimum of 4 years’ relevant IT Audit experience in conducting financial and/or operational audits in an international, internal/external audit, and/or large complex company environment; Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of applications, along with particular knowledge of computer assisted audit techniques (CAATS), such as Audit Command Language (ACL); Excellent organizational skills enabling management of several concurrent assignments; Ability to meet deadlines whilst ensuring quality results; Strong technical IT, IT Security, IT networking skills; Strong analytic and problem solving skills to review and evaluate complex IT control environments; Possess proficient understanding of data analysis tools such as ACL, and application of financial and operational analytics; An ability to gather, analyze and evaluate facts and to prepare and present concise oral and written reports; Highly competent possessing the following skills sets – client relations; interpersonal relationship management; negotiation; and having the ability to work well in teams High levels of achievement orientation, initiative, professionalism, confidentiality, personal ethics and ability to engender trust at all levels.
