Staff WriterIT Security Engineer II
LOCATION: Fiscal Services Limited. Kingston
DESCRIPTION: Implementing controls that will augment the company’s IT security policies; Ensuring that technical security solutions are optimally configured to protect the company’s data and information systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification or destruction.
QUALIFICATIONS: B.Sc. Information Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution; Networking / System Administration experience; 3 years experience in information security; CISSP or equivalent certification would be a plus; Hands-on knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, data encryption and other industry standard techniques and practices; Technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols and standards; Working knowledge of TCP/IP and network administration / protocols; Technical knowledge of network, PC and platform operating systems; Knowledge of penetration testing techniques; Hands-on experience with networking devices; Good understanding of Project Management principles; Good understanding of the requirements of ISO27001 and PCI DSS; Ability to deal with diverse and complex issues; Ability to work under pressure in a target driven environment; Ability to work within teams of varying sizes; Excellent oral & written communication skills.
