Location: Stewarts Automotive Group, Kingston
Description: Ensuring a high standard of work throughout the Workshop; Providing support and guidance to the Technicians in the diagnosis of technical repairs; Examining vehicles to determine cause of damage or malfunction; Interacting with customers when carrying out test drives; Following Manufacturers’ Checklists to ensure correct procedures are followed; Stripping, inspecting and measuring major components, using the necessary tools to determine the required repair; Carrying out routine services to required guidelines; Repairing and servicing air conditioning and heating systems; Writing up job cards in a timely and thorough manner; Understanding electrical systems and the correct repair type needed, when necessary; Repairing manual and automatic transmissions; Complying with regulations governing safety at work and accident prevention
Qualifications: Minimum of Level 3 Certification in Automotive Mechanics; Knowledge of new motor vehicle technology associated with a premium brand; A minimum of three years experience in a similar capacity; Experience with working in a team environment; Good interpersonal and communication skills; Good understanding of current diagnostic equipment and their functions
