JOB TITLE: Parish Manager

LOCATION:  Ministry of Health, St. Ann, St. Mary and Portland

DESCRIPTION: Managing the activities of the integrated health care delivery services in accordance with established policies and priorities to ensure the delivery of integrated health care that is accessible and  affordable;  Developing and managing the annual budget to meet set targets and ensure regulatory compliance; Ensuring the implementation of programs including the required financial, technical and human resources necessary to facilitate the delivery of quality health care; Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the health facilities and programs against targets on a continuous basis and provide feedback to Regional Directorate; Ensuring the timely collection, collation and analysis of data relating to the delivery of health services and participate in health studies; Coordinating and directing the development, implementation and evaluation of disaster preparedness and management of mass casualty plans for the parish.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Management or equivalent; Postgraduate qualification in Health Services Management, Public Administration, Finance or a related field with specialization in health sector; At least five (5) years’ experience at a senior management level with extensive exposure to corporate planning, economic research and analysis, and management information systems; Working knowledge of health systems and Government legislation relating to health delivery in the public sector; Excellent written and oral communication skills.
