JOB TITLE: Principal

LOCATION: Charlie Smith High School. Kingston

DESCRIPTION: Effectively manage the operations of the school to Ministry of Education standard. Oversee the operational planning and development of the institution; Direct operations and provide professional guidance and leadership to the entire institution

QUALIFICATIONS: A trained graduate with strong academic background. Persons having a Masterʼs degree in Educational Administration or Educational Leadership would be an asset. At least five years teaching experience with three years supervisory experience at the secondary level;  Ability to efficiently lead and motivate staff; Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Be a strong disciplinarian; Must have vision and the aptitude for strategic thinking, planning and implementation; Must have a working knowledge of the Education Act/Education Regulations and the F.A.A Act; Be computer literate; Have strong understanding of strategies and program to optimize studentsʼ achievements.
