DESCRIPTION: Observe, coach and evaluate staff for continuous improvement; Provide professional development as indicated by students achievement and teacher needs for continuous improvement
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership or related field; NCEL trained; Five (5) years successful supervisory experience at the Secondary Level; Professional Certification in Teaching and Education ; Be computer proficient an technology sound; Demonstrated commitment to the competencies of student achievement; Demonstrated skills and achievements as an instructional leader; Provide leadership for the development and continuous improvement of a school culture that ensures students have a vision of their productive place in society; In-depth knowledge of the Ministry of Education Rules and Regulations; Working knowledge of Jamaica Labor Laws and Industrial Relations Practices; Proven ability in Curriculum development; Applications should be done on the requisite Ministry of Education form available on the Ministry’s Website
