JOB TITLE: Project Assistant – Part Time – Capacity Building for Social and Economic Inclusion of Deaf Individuals Project
LOCATION: Jamaica Association for the Deaf, Kingston
DESCRIPTION: To support the Social Services Division of the JAD; Serves as the primary liaison between the Project Manager, and his/her internal/external project partners and stakeholders; Responsible for documentation and administrative support to the Project Manager and assigned Project Execution Team
QUALIFICATIONS: Should be enrolled in a tertiary institution or recently completed a first degree; Minimum two years administrative office support experience; Project management experience preferred; Knowledge of Jamaican Sign Language is an asset; Should be able to work independently but function within a team; Excellent written and verbal communication, Strong interpersonal and client service skills; Should have a respect and understanding of diversity and disabilities; Should be fully aware of the use of the Microsoft Office
