LOCATION: Nestlé Jamaica Limited, Kingston

DESCRIPTION: Relocation and optimizing of the existing fixed asset base and/or the purchase of new fixed assets;  It may extend from the initial conceptual studies through to project closeout by managing end to end project activities; Propose and implement work processes & procedures in accordance with Nestlé guidelines and systems; Coordinate relevant personnel in order to meet the established objectives; Manage his/her work according to defined KPIs and ensure that the project scope is fulfilled in line with the client’s expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a B.Sc. degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; At least 5 years’ experience in a technical field, preferably food manufacturing or consumer goods industry (as Project Engineer or Maintenance or E & A Engineer, or equivalent positions); A proven track record in Project Management skills and knowledge of Project Management tools; In-depth knowledge of food processing plant and technology; Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, human machine interface and automated systems; Knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements for food safety and equipment would be an asset; An understanding of electrical drawings; Understanding of financial analysis and relevant business drivers; General proficiency in MS Office applications and AutoCAD; A strong results-focus and unquestionable work ethic; Sound leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a (multi-disciplinary) team; The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
