LOCATION: Jamaica Broilers Group Limited, St. Catherine
DESCRIPTION: Assure the integrity of food safety and quality management systems in the production processes; Monitor to ensure that regulatory, customers and plant standards are implemented and maintained; Work on shift, occasionally on weekends
QUALIFICATIONS: BSc. Degree in Biochemistry/Food Chemistry or related discipline, Sound Knowledge of ISO, Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, HACCP and other related food safety management systems; Knowledge of good manufacturing practices, hygiene and sanitation principles; Knowledge of product development techniques; Experienced in conducting audits; Well-developed interpersonal, communications, analytical, diagnostic and time management skills; Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Thorough knowledge of meat processing would be advantageous; Minimum of three (3) year’s relevant production experience, with an understanding of product safety and regulations would be an asset.
