LOCATION: The Jamaica Biscuit Company Limited
DESCRIPTION: Responsible for operating and maintaining the Quality Control Laboratory in order to carry out routine; Quality Assurance checks; Assists in all phases of product development; Ensure that all incoming raw and packaging material meet the companyʼs specification.
QUALIFICATIONS: BSc. Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution; Three (3) years experience in a similar environment; Working knowledge of a total quality management program and food hygiene; Working knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP); Working knowledge of safety policies and procedures; Working knowledge of statistical process control, weights and measures; Must possess excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively on own initiative and within a team.
