JOB TITLE: Sales Officers
LOCATION: R & D Commercial Holdings Limited, Kingston
DESCRIPTION: Achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment, by effectively securing new business accounts/customers, servicing the existing clients and selling the company’s products and/or related services; Identify profitable target market and or niche for the sale of goods and services; Create in tandem with supervisors, the sales tactics and strategies necessary to achieve corporate objectives; Conduct surveys and research that will inform clinical sales strategies; Execute direct promotions and guerilla marketing to the relevant target market; Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers; Expeditiously resolve customer’s problems and complaints; Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups; Analyze the territory/market’s potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customer’s value to the organization; Identify advantages and compare organization’s products/services.
QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in selling products to specific niche; 3 years’ experience in the Fast Moving Consumers Goods Sector; First degree in sales, marketing or related field; Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; Able to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach); Results-orientated; both independently and as a team player; Excellent verbal and written communications skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software; Valid driver’s license
