JOB TITLE: Senior Internal Auditor

LOCATION:  EXIM Bank, Kingston

DESCRIPTION: Assist in the accomplishment of the Division’s strategic and other objectives; Assist with preparation of the annual audit plan; Prepare audit programs as guided by the IIA standards and generally in keeping with audit practices; Test the internal controls over key risk areas and make recommendations as relevant; Execute audits as detailed in the annual audit plan; Test accounting systems and report on the results of the audit procedures carried out; Assist and guide other staff members in the Audit Division in completing audit functions; Provide relevant support for all major updates to the Bank’s computer operating systems; Prepare quarterly report to the Board Audit and Conduct Review Committee in the absence of the Manager and assist with the preparation of this report routinely

QUALIFICATIONS: Level 2 ACCA OR Bachelor’s Degree in Accounts/Managerial Studies (majoring in Accounts); 5 years audit experience (supervisory level experience is required); Good knowledge of auditing principles and standards; Good project management skills; Excellent report writing and analytical skills; Good planning, investigating, organizing and coordinating skills; Good human relations and communication skills, both orally and in writing; Computer literacy; Good administrative and supervisory techniques; Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
