JOB TITLE: System Administrator

LOCATION: Chase, Kingston

DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the maintenance of the Fund’s network infrastructure to include PC’s, server, network equipment and software applications; Administer both the WAN and LAN for the organization; Administer Windows Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange; Design, documentation and implementation of various systems; Provide administrative support for the Management Information System; Develop, monitor and maintain procedures for all server backups; Make recommendations for new equipment and services to purchase and works with various vendors for procurement; Assist in the inventory of all hardware and software resources

QUALIFICATIONS:  Ideally the incumbent should have a first degree from a recognized University in the related discipline; At least four years (4) years experience working in a similar position (Systems/Network); Solid knowledge of configurations such as Cisco routers and switches, internet firewalls and wireless technology; Ability to set up and manage database systems; SQL Server; A sound knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Exchange Server 2010; Knowledge of Microsoft Office SharePoint Technologies is a plus; Familiar with hyper-v / virtualization is a plus
