Location: First Global Bank, Kingston
Description: Undertaking the design and analysis of business systems; Supporting the development and implementation of new systems as well as modifications to existing systems, inclusive of procedures, applications and reports; Providing project and systems support, as well as guidance throughout the complete Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) encompassing requirements gathering, systems design, systems development (programming), testing, implementation and project management; Providing application support to all departments in relation to main banking and investment applications, and other systems employed within First Global, liaising with respective service providers for problem solving.
Qualifications: A BSc. in Computer Studies; Proven experience in requirements-gathering and design for a medium; complexity business system, utilizing a modern, structured Systems Analysis and Design methodology; Experience in the use of an object-oriented programming language, SQL and Crystal Report Writer; Systems experience working in a financial services organization Knowledge of RDBMS database design techniques and the use of SQL; Sound experience in providing project and systems support throughout the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC); High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite; Conversant with branch banking, commercial/investment banking practices and systems; High level of customer-centricity; Excellent communication skills – including strong structured technical writing ability; Excellent interpersonal skills; Excellent project management skills; Highly self-motivated; Detail-oriented; Superior analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities; Must be able to work in an environment that is constantly changing, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands
