DESCRIPTION: Capacity of resident engineer responsible for the supervision of road construction and/or maintenance works; Survey, design and preparation of tender documents for road construction
QUALIFICATIONS: A university degree in civil engineering or equivalent; Proven strong skills in communication and project management; Fluent in spoken and written English; Spanish language skills will be considered an asset; Proficiency in usage of computers, office software packages and advance project management software as well as in handling of web-based management system; Competent user of project control software, such as MS Project; Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction and/or maintenance of civil works; A minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing countries; Preferably 10 years’ but with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in; At least 5 years shall include the supervision of contracts involving asphalt surfacing and surface seals; At least one previous assignment as a team leader working on an EU funded infrastructure contract utilizing EU procedures for works contracts (Budget or EDF).
