Location: Jamaica Information Service, Kingston

Description: Be aware of and fully understand Government’s communications plans; Plan, write and produce features, news and studio productions as assigned by Television Manager; Produce a weekly news and current affairs program; Voice copy for news as well as link pieces for features and Outside Broadcasts; Assist in the planning and management of Outside Broadcasts

Qualifications: First degree in Journalism, or Mass Communication; At least two years experience in writing, producing and reporting in the broadcasting industry; Highly developed television presentation skills; Strong ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work well in a team; High degree of initiative and creativity; Passion for news gathering and television production
