Location: Ministry of Justice, Kingston

Description: Provides administrative support to the Director, Justice Implementation Unit; Responsible for coordinating and managing special projects; Preparing reports; Researching matters assigned and handling queries; Research and provide information to the Director, staff and customers as directed; Co-ordinate information on the Justice Reform program; Manage the routine functions of the Director’s office to facilitate its efficient and effective operation; Research briefs as directed; Research and prepare notes for speeches and presentations for Director; Screen telephone calls for the Director and in his absence, record telephone messages and ensure that they are promptly delivered; Maintain a daily diary of appointments for the Director and ensure that it is kept up-to-date; Make travel arrangements both local and international; Establish and maintain a system of control for classified and confidential documents dealt with by the Director; Manage the routine functions of the Director’s office to facilitate the availability of the information

Qualifications: Certificate/Diploma in Paralegal Studies; Certificate in Management Studies or its equivalent; Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) or its equivalent; Four (4) GCE O Level or CXC General Proficiency subjects, including English Language; Six (6) years related work experience
