Location: Flow Jamaica, Kingston and St Andrew
Description: Implement procurement strategy and policies; create and implement KPI’s; Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipment in a timely and cost effective manner; ensure that appropriate quality standards and specifications are maintained; Review quotations; liaise with Accounts Payables unit to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices; Forecast procurement needs and monitor macro economic trends in supplier; Effective lead the procurement group in preparation of purchasing requisitions; Track purchasing activities and measurements; Ensure supplier compliance with site and company requirements for safety; Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships
Qualifications: Post graduate Degree in Business Administration, CPPM certification would be an asset; At least five (5) years working experience at a managerial level preferably in a purchasing function; In-depth knowledge of purchasing and inventory concepts, practices and procedures; Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power-point; Knowledge of Solomon and other accounting software would be an asset; Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; Excellent organizational skills
Results oriented with a proven track record in process improvement; Ability to effectively enforce policies, procedures and practices; Critical thinking skills and a genuine willingness to excel
