Location: EdgeChem, Kingston and St Andrew

Description: Ensuring the smooth operations of the factory; Enhancing the manufacturing process; Management of raw material stock levels to ensure production needs are met; Satisfying warehouse requests to ensure sales needs are met; Receiving of raw material in keeping with established procedures; Maintaining safe work practices within the safety guidelines of the Company, the Factory Act and the Bureau of Standards, Jamaica; General housekeeping as it relates to equipment maintenance, factory workspace and tools needed in the production process; Maintaining product and employee records through the use of the company’s established software and Microsoft excel, etc.

Qualifications: Tertiary level education in one of the following: Management, Business Administration, Industrial; Engineering or Industrial Technology; Five (5) years experience in a managerial post; Strong leadership skills; Knowledge of the paint industry would be an asset; Experience in the food or chemical industry would also be an asset as the skills sets are similar to those required
