Johnny goes to LA Premier of Kingston Paradise

Actor and Comedian, Christopher ‘Johnny’ Daley is starting the year off with a busy schedule. He will leave the island next Valentine weekend to headline two (2) shows in South Florida before going cross-country to the city of angels for the LA Premier of the movie, Kingston Paradise.

Written, produced and directed by fellow Jamaican, Mary Wells, Kingston Paradise, is a drama centered on a small-time hustler played by Daley, living in the ghettos of Kingston, who make a mess of a car theft and finds himself neck-deep in trouble, far from his dream of a better life and soon realizes that he has to change.

This is Christopher’s first leading role in a local film, which has been making its rounds and garnering several awards along the way at various film festivals and theatres internationally.  Christopher is very excited to be part of the contingent in Los Angeles for this showing on February 16. ‘I’m really looking forward to this experience to showcase that great quality films are being produced in Jamaica for an international audience. It’s also great for me to be there to help in promoting the movie’ he said.

Christopher will be back on island thereafter for his fast growing morning radio show – Johnny Live – on Suncity Radio 104.9FM
