Attendees at the Health and Wellness Forum will hear from those community leaders who are at the forefront of identifying the impact of varying issues on our community and how our children are being affected emotionally, psychologically and physically. These leaders will also share solutions and resources to assist the children through their impact.  Some of the identified concerns are the rising number of school shootings, bullyism, families affected by drive-by shootings where children have been victims, suicide, changes in family structures, and academic choices among others.

Health and Wellness conversations are an agenda item on the JWOF’s mission of community outreach.  According to President Edwards “our aim is to keep our families aware of the varying topics that affect our health and well-being, and is detrimental to community building and family values, especially as it affect our children.”

The forum will also include a question and answer period.  Information booths will provide clinical and legal advice and guidelines on all aspects of care and prevention and how the community can play a part in restoring family values and safeguard guidelines to protect the communities and the general welfare of this State.
