LinkUp Radio on WVIP 93.5FM is sad to announce that they are parting ways with “The King of Mix Up” Kingsley “Ragashanti” Stewart, a month before his contract was to end. The morning show host of “Ragashanti in di Mawning” gave his resignation to Linkup Radio, effective February 28th, 2013 for personal and business reasons.
Ragashanti joined the LinkUp Media Group of Companies in April 2012, taking his unique brand of entertainment to the Tri-State area. The show quickly became one of the top morning shows in the New York metro area.
David “Squeeze” Annakie, CEO of Linkup Media Group of Companies, is sad to see Ragashanti go, but the split was amicable. “I wish Raga nothing but the best in all future endeavors and hope we get to work with him again soon.” The station will be announcing a new morning show host in the near future.
