The Incubator Summit is a virtual event  where creative entrepreneurs, business development practitioners and other interested patrons will engage in panel discussions and networking sessions to share ideas on best practices for developing creative entrepreneurs. This event, sponsored by Kingston Creative, the Inter-American Development Bank and the Development Bank of Jamaica, will take place on January 11, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 4 PM Jamaica time.

The event seeks to establish itself as the forum for Incubators for the cultural creative industries in the Caribbean, Latin America, and North America to innovate their development activities, improve awareness of opportunities, and share best practices. 

“As Kingston Creative works to improve our initiatives to better serve Jamaican creatives, we think it would be a very good idea to also establish regional connections for creatives and creative entrepreneurs,” says Karen Hutchinson, project Manager for the CREATECH programme, “ We think giving persons the opportunity to share with others with different experiences, approaches and perspectives will help to strengthen entrepreneurship and the cultural and creative industries across the region, especially in light of the challenges posed by Covid-19.”
