The Lauderhill Regional Chamber of Commerce (LRCC) in partnership with the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, and the Miami Broward One Carnival Host Committee will be staging the LRCC 8th Annual Business EXPO from Thursday, October 6 through Sunday, October 9, 2011. The International Business EXPO will be at the Inverrary Hotel and the Trade Seminars and International Trade Luncheon will be held at the Inverrary Country Club, 3840 Inverrary Boulevard in Lauderhill, just opposite from the Inverrary Hotel.
Under the theme “EXPANDING BEYOND OUR BORDERS,” the event is focusing on the Latin American and Caribbean markets in conjunction with the following organizations in order to have a successful event:
• U.S. Department of Commerce
• Trade Department of the Canadian Consulate
• Bi-National Chambers of Commerce in Florida (ABICC)
• The Florida Foreign Trade Association (FFTA)
• The Latin American Chamber of Commerce of Broward County
Apart from the Trade Show, the International EXPO will be comprised of Seminars, an International Trade Breakfast and Luncheon, VIP Reception and an International Culinary Competition featuring Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Miami and the Culinary Department of the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
“This is a powerful multi-day event to support local businesses in the development of expanding beyond their borders by advancing into the Caribbean and Latin American Marketplace,” said Event Organizer Maria Munro of Unique Productions.
Participants will have an opportunity for economic development, cultural enrichment and social and recreational engagement.
The event is open to the public.
