The Prince of Peace Moravian Church in Miami Gardens, Florida and the Law Offices of Dahlia A. Walker, PA present an Immigration Town Hall Meeting on Sunday, April, 15, 2012 at 1880 NW 183rd Street, Miami Gardens, Florida from 5pm -7pm.

At this meeting attendees will be able to ask the attorney questions about US immigration at no cost and learn what is new in the ever-changing world of US immigration.

The church has provided immigration referrals for their members to attorney Walker for several years and the clients are treated on a reduced fee basis because of their affiliation with the Prince of Peace Moravian Church.

Rev. Joe Nicholas, Pastor at Prince of Peach Moravian Church welcomes this service to his parishioners and the wider public. “At Prince of Peace Moravian, we are very excited about the upcoming Town Hall Meeting to be led by Ms. Walker. She has been serving our Church family and the wider community on immigration matters for many years and many of our people have benefited tremendously from her knowledge and expertise. We expect that there will be a very good attendance as we eagerly anticipate the new insights which she will bring to us”.

Dahlia Walker-Huntington has been conducting Immigration Town Halls all over the state of Florida for almost 15 years. She is open and frank with those attending the Town Hall Meetings and has spent a lot of time in service to the immigrant community in Florida. She has been recognized for her selfless contributions by the Miami-Dade Florida Women’s Lawyers Association as a “Woman Inspiring Hope & Possibility”, and by Alpha Academy her high School in Jamaica as a “Woman of Excellence, 2008”, among many other recognitions.

“I believe that doing these community events is quite helpful to people who cannot otherwise afford a consultation fee with a lawyer but who need to receive authentic information. I have recommitted to doing more of these events in our South Florida immigrant communities,” says Walker-Huntington.
