Kingston, November 30 The former home of the late Robert Nesta Marley, 56 Hope Road, now the Bob Marley Museum, will be buzzing with activities this Saturday, December 3, and for the next two months.

Candice Breitz presents a 30-channel video installation of the Legend, which explores the contrasts between the Bob Marley (one of Jamaica’s biggest brand name in the world) and Jamaica’s impression of the late musical giant.

This impression will see 30 fans present in acappella version, their own impressions of the songs from the Legend album…the voices will be synchronised.

This work-of-art has been commissioned by the Thyssen-Bornemisza Contemporary Art Foundation. The Foundation was founded by Francesca Von Habsburg. She is a Swiss-born Archduchess daughter of Baron Hans Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza, one of the world’s most influential art collectors, and herself a respected collector.

The event on Saturday starts at 7:00 p.m. and will feature live and recorded performances throughout the evening.
