June & Tony Wong, of Liguanea Drug & Garden Centre, presents the 6th staging of the Festival, which is eagerly anticipated by art-lovers and the artists alike.  A relaxing day outdoors to saunter and  wonder at the works of art, meet the artists one-on-one, ask questions and purchase for your collection.

Exhibitors will include the reknown Watson family, Gene Pearson, Howard Moo Young, experienced members of the Guild of Artistes, and many new faces with exceptional work from both local and overseas.  The Festival’s greatest role is to give the artists a grand forum to maximize their exposure to the public in a one-day setting, whilst also giving the public the opportunity to freely appreciate and get closer to our local talent.  The Festival must be a valuable experience for everyone on that day. Patrons will also be afforded the convenience of credit card purchases as well.

Akwaaba Drummers will be in the house throughout the day while you enjoy a bite with us by the Sweetwood Jerk Centre and Rainforest Seafoord booth and a drink with us courtesy of CPJ and WISYNCO.

Sponsors recognize the value of the Festival and we have the support of the Gleaner, CVM TV, , Jamaica Trade & Invest’s Visual & Performing Arts Cluster, Well Woman’s Multivitamins, IRIE, ZIP, RJR, and First Global among others.

Workshops, Live entertainment, delicious Jamaican food on sale.  Admission to the public is free, and parking is available at Scotiabank, Hope Gospel Assembly and Providence churches for your convenience, with a shuttle service from Sts. Peter & Paul Church.  It’s well worth the trip from anywhere in the island for the entire family.

No where else in Jamaica is there an exhibition on this scale – the talent, the diversity and the sheer number.  Liguanea welcomes all of Jamaica to join us, appreciate and enjoy.
