Linkup Media Announces Its Plan For 2008

New York, January 14, 2008– Linkup Media, a leading entertainment and media company, announces its plans for 2008.

LinkUp Media- the parent company of LinkUp Radio 93.5FM WVIP, Plush TV, Caribbean Link Newspaper, and Jamrock Magazine – is the largest Caribbean owned media house in the Tri-state area, serving over 2 million Caribbean-Americans.

Linkup Radio will continue to air at its normal time; Daytime Link, Monday through Friday 11am to 2 pm and Ride Home, 7pm to 8pm. Musical Blitz, 10pm to Midnight on Fridays and Community Forum and Saturday Blitz, from 6pm to Midnight.

Linkup Radio responded to the growing needs of listeners by adding an extra 7 hours of radio programming through out the week on Mondays from 4pm to 7pm, Thursdays from 5pm to 6pm and Friday from 2pm to 4pm.

On January 14th, Linkup Radio will expand even further by joining WPAT 930AM on Mondays through Thursday from 8PM to 9PM in the Brooklyn area.

The signal of WVIP could not reach all households in the Brooklyn community, to rectify this we have joined forces with WPAT”. The programming of WPAT will be supported by 1st Republic Mortgage Bankers, the leader in the industry of providing mortgage financing in the Caribbean.

The programming of WPAT will follow the regular trends of LinkUp 93.5FM radio with news, sports, music, mortgage and immigrations plus more.

PLUSH TV has moved to an earlier time slot, PLUSH is being aired from 12 noon to 2PM on channel 118 with a compact two hours of Pulse Caribbean Fashion Week, information on mortgage and immigration, news and the latest music videos.

After coming off of a successful and sold out concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, LinkUp Media has fully captured the New York City audience’s attention and plans on being a fixture in this great diverse city.

Jamrock Magazine office has officially opened its doors at 225 Broadway, adjacent to the Spar and Bernstein Law Office, where CEO David “Squeeze” Annakie will be stationed. Jamrock Magazine, a Caribbean/American Lifestyle Magazine enters its second year of production with Editor-in-Chief Elina Furman, Managing Director, Renee King and Art Director Gilbert Gomez. Jamrock Magazine has increased its circulation of over 100,000 magazines to Japan and Germany and other parts of Europe.

Caribbean Link Newspaper has also entered its second year of publication with over 100,000 newspapers in circulation throughout the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut areas.
