The community activism award was presented to Dr. Laura Pires-Hester, wife of late Dr. Melvyn Hester, an Ardenne Alumni. Former president Merna Merchant serves as host of the ceremonies which included a command performance by master Saxophonist/Musician Dean Fraser and Christopher McDonald on keyboards.
