Madmen Productions Goes Global

Trinidadian hit house MadMen Productions goes global with their first international release Titans Riddim, now available worldwide from all major digital retailers (released on May 13, 2014), from FOX FUSE. Recently inking an exclusive worldwide digital distribution deal with FOX FUSE, MadMen Productions now sees its vast catalog and slew of hits available to the global market, for the very first time.

Based in San Juan, Trinidad, MadMen Productions is known for crafting sleek and thrilling soca hits for 11 years now. It was established by super producers Johann Seaton and Ricardo Rameshwar, who also plays double-duty as the pianist in KES The Band. These talented hit-makers have been consistently creating smashes that have stormed the airwaves and charts in Trinidad, the Caribbean and soca platforms worldwide, and their eyes are now set on the global audience, as they focus on attracting the world to their music. “We produce all genres but recently, we created a new sound called island pop, which is a fusion between our culture’s native sounds and dance music,” reveals Seaton. This potpourri of EDM-meets-soca is apparent on all their recent releases, giving their music a pop flavor and the world is biting.

Their Titans Riddim was released worldwide on May 13, 2014 and debuted at #8 on the iTunes US Reggae Top Albums chart, at #13 on the iTunes UK Reggae Top Albums chart, and at #19 on the iTunes Canada World/Reggae Top Albums chart. It was also featured on the U.S. iTunes New and Noteworthy Reggae chart during its week of release. The masterpiece compilation boasts the top stars in soca music today, including the 2014 International Soca Monarch and Road March champion Machel Montano, the 2014 Groovy Soca Monarch Kerwin Du Bois, the phenomenal KES and the ‘Queen of Bacchanal’ Destra Garcia. They also released the Bubble Riddim on May 13, 2014, featuring soca stars Destra, KES, Blaxx, MX Prime and Ultimate Rejects – a electronic DJ collective consisting of Seaton and MX Prime. MadMen also has two more blockbuster compilation albums en route for June 2014 – Break-In-Trance Riddim, which features hit tracks by Destra, Umi Marcano and Maximus Dan (MX Prime), and Electro Lights Riddim, which features the smash singles “Where Yuh From” by KES and “So High (A.O.A.)” by Machel Montano.

With their special formula of soca spiced with dance and pop influences and focus on infusing international flavors with their rich island sound, MadMen Productions releases are guaranteed to find a home on playlists and charts worldwide. As evidenced by the massive success of the Titans Riddim, this is just the beginning of their legacy.
