Manager – Information Technology

Location: Jobbank

Description: Information Services: Planning, organizing, controlling and coordinating of all technical information, ICT and popularization activities; including the MIS, including software applications, the website and a Regional Energy Information System; Ensure that the organization keeps abreast of current trends in the development of Science Education, energy information and information technology; Represent the SRC at local and international meetings and conferences and plan and execute a major biannual National conference.

Qualifications: A Masters degree in Business Administration/Mass Communications/Information Science /Library Studies; First degree in Pure/Applied Sciences or Information Science or Library Studies; Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and good presentation skills; Training in applications of ICT; Training/background in Science Education; 5 years relevant postgraduate experience in a senior position; Exceptional foresighting skills; Strong conflict resolution and negotiating skills; Firm commitment to Customer Service
