May Pen Hospital Receives Essential Equipment Valued at US $80, 000.00 1

Lester ‘Mike’ Henry, the functions of the medical equipment and supplies donated to the MPH by bauxite/alumina company, Jamalco. The donation, valued at US 80,000.00 includes emergency patient stretcher trolleys, hand drills, four orthopaedic beds and mattresses, 31 pieces of orthopaedic equipment and accompanying accessories, and two pelvic-reduction clamps. Jamalco and its Noble Foundation has, over the past four years, provided J$28 million in funding support to the healthcare system in central Jamaica.

The medical equipment and supplies valued at US $80,000.00, which was donated to the May Pen Hospital in Clarendon by alumina/bauxite company, Jamalco. The donation brings to total J $28 million donated to healthcare in central Jamaica by the bauxite/alumina company and its Noble Foundation over the last four years.
