“Hello Census Partners:
 
We are trying to identify a location for our meeting scheduled for 9/17 at 6:30pm, please remember that we are a countywide effort and you are critical to helping to reach your communities.
 
It would be nice to host this meeting in south county.  Special thank to Mayor Brady for hosting us in North Lauderdale we will consider that or north location.
 
I am out of the area observing the support that the census will provide the N.Y Caribbean Carnival this weekend.  From what I am hearing they will be out in full force getting the message out to the Caribbean community.
 
We all have friends, associates and family all over Broward county lets make this meeting the best ever. Save the date 9/17.    We need more people engaged to ensure an accurate count. We need everyone in this e-mail to help to get the message about census and our meetings.
 
Broward/Miamai One Carnival event is your next major activity. Use your business e-mail list to request locations for Census Posters, use your religious contact to get an audience with minister groups, use your media contact to get the word out about census. It is up to all of us.
 
We will continue to engage the Leadership in Washington, the Atlanta Region that covers Florida that they must spend money on media in our diverse immigrant communities and should hire from that same immigrant population to do census count.  That is your leadership within this census committee pledge to you.  Your state Rep. Hazelle Rogers sits on the Governor’s Statewide Census Committee and she is focused on the Caribbean Communities all over the state, however, don’t forget Broward is her home and South Florida her base.
 
We are awaiting response from our partners in south county as to a location for the meeting on 9/17.
