I use to collect comics while growing up as a teenager in Jamaica. Having “muscles” to attract girls  was the “in ting” then as it probably is now for teenagers. This Charles Atlas advertisement was appealing to me and many of my friends back then. A quick way to get muscles. Many of us would talk about this advertisement and our wish to “kick sand inna bwoy’s” face when we get muscles. Charles Atlas was a name many of my friends recognized with strength and salvation from a skinny body.  I never ordered this product hence I never did get muscles and I am still “skinny”. I don’t know of anyone who actually ordered the product.
