As the Democratic party nominations for their presidential candidate winds down it seems like the smear campaign is about to begin. Since last week there has been an email campaign (and website) with rumors of a Michelle Obama tape from the now famous Trinity Church where she uses the term “Whitey” to describe white people/George Bush. There is a dispute about the tape and also some people saying she said “Why’d he” (referring to George Bush). For example “Why’d he let New Orleans drown?”. This tactic is similar to the “Obama is a Muslim” whisper campaign.

Then there is the picture of Senator McCain hugging President Bush being circulated to say they are “tied” together…Looks like we are getting ready for a smear campaign like we have not seen before.
