The Minister Of Culture, Gender, Entertainment And Sport, The Honourable Olivia Grange, Has Announced That The 2022 Jamaica Festival Song Competition Is Now Completed
VPAL Music is pleased to share the audio link for this year’s Jamaica Festival Song Competition with members of the media. The link contains official audio from the 10 finalists whose song will represent Jamaica this year.
Minister Grange said she is “pleased” with the response to the re-opening of entries and added “we have never received so many entries in one week.”

The songs are currently being mastered – the release date will be announced soon. Minister Grange has called on broadcasters “to play the songs so that the public will get to know them and be able to choose their favourite for Jamaica 60.”
The winning song will be selected following two televised shows on July 14 and 28. The winning song will be selected by a combination of judges scores and telephone voting by members of the public.
The winning song will receive a prize of three million dollars Jamaican Dollars which will be shared between the producer, the writer and the singer.
