Minister Of State Arnaldo Brown Congratulates Tessanne Chin

The Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the Hon. Arnaldo Brown, MP, congratulates Tessanne Chin on winning Season Five of the Voice.
 
“Like many Jamaicans at home and in the Diaspora, I have followed Tessanne’s progress in the competition over the past months. She represented our nation with style and aplomb.”
 
The Foreign Ministry commends members of the Jamaican Diaspora in the United States of America especially in Atlanta, California, Chicago, Colorado, Florida, New York, and Texas, for their sterling support to Ms. Chin throughout the competition. Also recognised is the role played by restaurant owners who hosted Twitter parties at their establishments, and by community leaders, politicians and members of the media fraternity, among others, who voted through various means. This level of collaboration demonstrated the commitment of the Jamaican Diaspora to participating in all aspects of the nation’s life and showed what can be achieved when Jamaicans unite.
 
The Foreign Ministry also thanks the Ministries of Youth and Culture and Tourism and Entertainment, as well as the Jamaican Consulates in the USA, for their involvement in mobilising the Diaspora.
