For those in the South Florida area, I was fortunate enough to be invited to attend the first major event at the new Miramar Cultural theatre. It was a jazz evening with the likes of Sonny Bradshaw and Merna Hague, Dean Frasier, Eugene Gray and Glen Browne.

The performances were excellent but the theatre is what was being showcased. I hope the people of Miramar and the surrounding cities make use of and support this introduction to the cultural landscape.
