The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) Miss Jamaica Festival Queen Parish Coronations 2013 will be held during the month of May. The Miss Jamaica Festival Queen Competition is one of the JCDC’s signature events that continue to attract young women between the ages of 18 and 25 years. Contestants are judged on Cultural Awareness, Leadership, Community Involvement and their presentations in areas of the Performing Arts. The contestants will vie for a chance to represent their parish as cultural ambassadors and compete at the National Finals scheduled for Saturday, August 3 at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre.
The JCDC Miss Jamaica Festival Queen Competition is being held under the theme “Jamaican Women…Shaping Our Culture and Our Nation”.
