Tonight, August 14th, 2013 Miss Kitty, Junior Reid and Professor Nuts will be inside of The Door Restaurant. Their special appearance is to meet and greet with press officials in anticipation of their upcoming performance at the Reggae Splash and International Food Festival, slated to be held at Roy Wilkins Park in Queens NY on Sunday, August 25th, 2013.
Popular reggae veteran artists Junior Reid and Professor Nuts, alongside the Puffy Diva Miss Kitty, will make a special one-time only press appearance at The Door Restaurant in Queens, NY Tonight. The Door Restaurant is located at 163-07 Baisley Blvd, Jamaica NY. This event will begin promptly at 7:00pm. Refreshments will be served.
The fluffy Diva Miss Kitty is known for her energetic and straight forward personality on radio and various television shows such as RETV and Magnum King and Queens of Dancehall reality series. Miss Kitty is a prolific MC/Hostess and media personality. She will be the only female host at Roy Wilkins Park on Sunday, August 25th.
Junior Reid was the lead vocalist of the legendary group Black Uhuru for several albums. He furthered his career by making a name for himself as a solo artiste. “One Blood” and “This is why I’m hot” are two of his most popular cross-over songs. “In 2011, Junior Reid teamed up with Ludacris, T-Pain, Busta Rhymes, Mavado, Bun B, Game, Twista, Jadakiss, Waka Flocka Flame, Fat Joe, Ace Hood & Birdman in the remix of Dj Khaled’s “Welcome To My Hood”. Junior Reid continues to sell out concerts throughout the world. He has also created new music. His recently released singles “Sharing the Night Together”, “Never Let you Go”, “Same Boat” along with his mixtape “Kingston Firehouse” are tearing up the charts in Jamaica and across the globe.
From Dancer to Musician, Professor Nuts is “one of the first Jamaican artists that combined comedy, social commentary and music.” His tunes have caught the attention of many. After being inspired by Nicodemus in 1979, he started to write his own lyrics. Over the years, Professor Nuts has released chart topping songs such as “In A De Bus”, “Nuttn’ Ah Gwan Fada” and “Satan Strong”.
