I am trying to understand why many in the media is saying Miss California answer to gay marriage is controversial. Maybe it was not the answer they wanted to hear but I don’t think it is controversial. It is her opinion and seems based on the marriage amendment votes in November the majority of Californians agree with her. Did it cost her the crown? I think it contributed to her loss. However lets not kid ourselves. This may not be a bad thing for her. She will get her 5 minutes of fame and will probably be a future Fox News contributor. I would not be surprised if in 4 years people remember her and not remember the actually winner.
