Miss Earth Jamaica Guest Model At A Fashion Affairs Fashion Show

Miss Earth Jamaica 2009, Jenaae Jackson will be guest model at the Annual “A Fashion Affair” Fashion Show on “Mother’s Day” Sunday May 9, 2010 at the Trinity Grand Ballroom of the Holiday Inn Select located at 4386 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Atlanta GA 30341 commencing at 3:00 p.m. under the theme “Exotica”.

“Exotica” seems a fitting title for the  intrigue and glamour that surrounds the beauty and essence of the Caribbean islands, its people, its culture and its allure.

A Fashion Affair Inc. will present this magnificent runway show on “Mother’s Day” to celebrate the beauty in all of us and to embrace the diversity of our cultural heritage.

This annual Caribbean show provides the Atlanta community with an up-close view of the Caribbean Islands. It also encourages bilateral trade with our people as well as provides an interest in tourism in the regions. The personal touch given to this event by Norma Jean Martin (event director), Christine Newton (event coordinator) and Peaches Pennycooke (marketing & sales) has charmed audience over the years.

The show has a strong support from the community. Interest in the show climaxed in 2007, when A Fashion Affair presented “Caribbean Kaleidoscope” to an audience of over 700 guests from all over the USA and the Caribbean. Despite the deepening recession, people still have need of quality family entertainment. A Fashion Affair Inc. is sensitive to that and has lowered the ticket prices for general admission from $50.00 to $40.00 and the VIP seating from $65.00 to $50.00. Sponsorship for this event was a challenge. Many of our previous sponsors have challenges in this economy to provide advertising support. We are privileged and proud to partner with: The Caribbean Star, Georgetta Glaves Innis Law Firm, Gwinnett Family Medical Center, Captain Mikes Catering Service, Vitamalt, Caribbean Entertainment Television and Jamaica National Building Society. We are grateful and proud of our sponsors and our many advertisers in the souvenir program. It is only through your support that we are able to bring this production to you.

Every year we bring you the best and this year is no less. You will be entertained with dramatic runway fashion from top designers Uzuri International, designers to Miss World pageant, Pablo Palair menswear designer out of Mo-Bay Jamaica, Mushroom Swimwear the Caribbean top swimwear designer, Mutamba collection out of Kingston Jamaica, T.K. Design featuring Palini Couture out of Sandy Springs Atlanta, K & G Super Store menswear Stone Mountain, Private boutiques and specialty collections. In addition, the opening act introduces a winning star dance performance by an Atlanta dance ensamble, choreographed by Chelsea Dixon & T’ka Martin. The icing on the cake of this fashion cabaret production will be comic relief by funny woman Sophie Nichols out South Florida now stationed in Louisiana
