Harrison College in Barbados has come under fire for a natural hairstyle ban.  According to Harrison College the hairstyle is not appropriate for school.  The ban was made public when Elva Mary Tudor posted pictures (above) of her daughter who was cited by the school as wearing an “‘offending’ style”.  Students started a petition and letter to the school principal about the ban. The principal has since made a statement saying she recognises the beauty of natural hair, all students must be “neat and tidy” when in school uniform.  What are your thoughts?
