Members of the National Dance Theatre Company of Jamaica will present 2 workshops for the public and students of dance while in South Florida.

WORKSHOP I: National Dance Theatre Company of Jamaica
Lecture- Demonstration

PARTICIPANTS: Open to students of dance of all levelsand backgrounds, semi- and professional dancers as well as people who are interested in learning more about the Caribbean dance genre

WORKSHOP II: Caribbean Dance Workshop, Artists’ Dialogue and Panel Discussion

PARTICIPANTS: Open to students of dance, semi- and professional dancers intermediate to advanced levels, choreographers, artistic directors, educators and dance critics

LOCATION: Florida International University-University Park Campus, Room W-6

Non-dancer audience members are invited to watch and participate in the discussion about contemporary dance in America and the Caribbean.
