My son has now official mastered the words Thank You and You Are Welcome. Never mind he sometimes says them together.

He is at the age when he repeats everything he hears. Yesterday I was on the phone with someone and I said the word Mona and he started saying Mona Mona Mona. Now I know I need to be careful with what I say around him.

I sometimes swear and I have to seriously be watching that. Last Sunday while cooking I said a swear word and didn’t realize he was right there and he repeated. I had to say mummy made a mistake please dont say that. It’s that serious.

Now my mother is on my case about not speaking patois around him. I do try to speak proper English but I think its hopeless. Isn’t he going to pick it up anyway??? The verdict is still out on that. But all I can is that I am trying
