There is a report that the government is blaming social network for the information out there on Tivoli.

I don’t understand why the government would be concerned about this when they have the bully pulpit. They should have handled the situation like a hurricane with hourly updates on what is happening. They could have frame what is reported. They could have started a fan page and a twitter account to get the word out. Trust or no trust people would see them as the legitimate news source.  There is talk of a media center which will be open today. How much do you want to bet there will  be no social network component.
