For the fourth year running OCEAN STYLE will host its annual FashionShowcase in Montego Bay, Jamaica from November 4-6. Under the banner of ‘fashion.luxury.fun’ this year OCEAN STYLE partners with Land Rover and Range Rover as the presenting sponsor with Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum and Sandals Resorts as the platinum sponsors.
“ATL Britannia and Land Rover and Range Rover are proud to be associated with Ocean Style’s Fashion Showcase and premiering of the new Range Rover Evoque. The Fashion Showcase is the ideal event to highlight the class, luxury and style of Range Rover, in particular the newly launched Evoque; which has been described as ‘stylish, fun and more desirable than any rivals,’ by the UK’s largest car-buying guide What Car, ” said Brian Stevenson, Managing Director of ATL Britannia, exclusive distributors of Land Rover and Range Rover.
The weekend of ‘fashion.luxury.fun’ kicks off on Friday November 4 with a Welcome Beach Party on Sandals Cay. The following morning will see the Celebrity Golf Tournament being played, at the famed Cinnamon Hill golf course, where Olympic Champion Donovan Bailey and his team will seek to retain their title.
“Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum is proud to partner with Ocean Style to be a part of an amazing weekend that captures everything luxurious and fun. Beautiful people and cutting edge international fashion meets Jamaica’s best in entertainment, golf and of course the best rum in the world. We’ll drink to that!” – Tanisa Samuel, Western Operations Manager.
Partnering this year with the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce, OCEAN Style is encouraging golfers to bring both their ‘A’ and very accurate games if they are to emerge with any of the tournament’s rich array of Hole in One Prizes with US$1 Million, a Land Rover LR2 and an Audi A1 all up for grabs.
Cinnamon Hill Director of Golf, Robert Ames, is looking forward to the event and had this to say “We are pleased that the honor of hosting this great golf event has been bestowed upon Cinnamon Hill.” Proceeds from the Golf Tournament will benefit the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and go toward the OCEAN Style Scholarship Fund which will assist Caribbean students pursuing degrees in Fashion or the Arts in North America. Ames adds “The golf tournament is just one part of a great weekend that promises to further a great cause. “
A number of celebrities have already confirmed attendance including former NBA superstar John Salley, athlete Donovan Bailey and actors Anthony Anderson, Quintin Aaron and Rockmond Dunbar with additional personalities set to confirm.
