JAMPACT is pleased to announce the rollout of its enhanced Adopt-A-School Program! The focus of this program is to provide assistance to early childhood institutions/basic schools in Jamaica in order for them to attain certification from the Early Childhood Commission (ECC) – the regulatory body for early childhood institutions.
JAMPACT is aware of the challenges faced by many early childhood institutions as they try to meet ECC standards. Failure to meet these standards could result in school closure thereby leaving already underserved communities with one less vital institution.
Schools are required to apply to the Adopt-A-School program by completing and submitting an application with required forms to the Education Committee of JAMPACT for review.
Applications can be downloaded by visiting JAMPACT’s website at www.jampact.org. The completed application with all required documents and signatures must be submitted via email to [email protected] or regular mail to the address below. The application deadline is August 31, 2014.
Schools will be notified by email that their application has been received and is being reviewed. It is imperative that the program application be completed and returned by the required deadline in order to allow adequate review and execution of a joint agreement between JAMPACT and the school.
Faxed applications will not be accepted and applications received after August 31, 2014 will be rolled over to the next administrative year.
