Professional Jamaicans for Jamaica, Inc., a registered non-profit organization, request your support towards our Operation Backpack Drive – Spring 2014.  The Operation Backpack Drive is a charitable initiative where people donate backpacks and school supplies to needy Jamaican children. Since the backpack project was launched in 2010, we have distributed over 5,000 backpacks to children across Jamaica.  

This initiative seeks your help as we continue to make positive contributions to the educational development of the most vulnerable members of our communities in Jamaica, our children. Many children in Jamaica are not participating in the educational process because they lack the necessary resources to attend school, including basic school supplies.  We request financial support and in-kind donations to meet our annual targeted goal of 1,000 backpacks to ensure children in Jamaica will start the 2014 calendar school year off right.  Financial donations are accepted via our website at www.pjfj.org using our safe and secured PayPal account.  You can also purchase and ship backpacks and basic school supplies to:
